Subject 2036 – Dan Appleford Activity Report 1997-Present
Subject has proven relatively difficult to track since the facilitator incident in relation to CryptoNet, though has resurfaced from time-to-time in a somewhat random fashion, though most notably in the lead up to the new year of 2000, where increasingly frantic and – frankly – concerning posts and emails were monitored in relation to the so-called ‘Millennium Bug’. It has been noted that communication on this topic dropped to nil after 10:21 on January 1st 2000, when it was noted that few if any of the projected problems had emerged.
Subject has, in recent years, raised concerns about the ‘2038 problem’, believing it to be a similar attempt to end all of civilisation as we know it. However, this has gained little traction, though we will continue to monitor as the event approaches.
An agent has raised suspicions that Subject may be involved in recent DDOS and electronic meddling in Institute operations, as intercepted communications resemble the writing style of the Subject. This is unconfirmed, though will be pursued and the Subject will be brought in for questioning if further evidence arises.
