Subject 5255 - William Blythe

Report of Activity from 1997

Though we maintained surveillance on William Blythe for some years following the CryptoNet Incident, there is little of great significance to report. He assisted with the closing of the second iteration of CryptoNet, and returned to the third iteration, confusingly named CryptoNet 2. He returned to a life of ordinary work, hobby radio tinkering and mundane paranormal investigation. He applied for a ham radio license, passed the tests, and became a known figure in ham radio enthusiast circles, particularly for his unique and well-designed custom transmitter.

He occasionally travelled the country in his time off, visiting sites of paranormal interest. On one occasion he disappeared for almost a month before abruptly appearing again with little fanfare. His friends and relatives were concerned, but the incident soon faded when he returned safe and sound.

He kept in touch with other CryptoNet users, both on and off the new forum. Indeed, he attended a convention meetup, the events of which we have little intel on at present.
