Subject 8551 - Irina Strelkova

Subject 8551 – Irina Strelkova Activity Report 1997-Present

ARTICLE REDACTED DUE TO POLITICAL SENSITIVITY.

Upon discovering her relationship to Subject 1009 [Vrillon, aka Tony Hoare], Subject decided to abandon potential future relations in favour of her father, who currently resides in Russia at ADDRESS WITHHELD.

In the latter half of 1997, Subject began distributing communist propaganda in the Oxford area along with her partner, Subject 9901 [Konstantin Nekrasov]. This was met with little success, though electoral reports from the area suggest a small uptick in left-wing support over the following years beyond expected levels. Subject also continued to work with her father, promoting a return to the societal values of the USSR in modern Russia; a number of articles were published in Russian-language journals and newspapers – most notably SUBJECT REDACTED.

In 1999, an international arrest warrant was issued due to subversive publications against the Russian federal government, and for articles heightening tensions between Russia and neighbouring states due to embarrassing classified information regarding SUBJECT REDACTED in YEAR REDACTED, which caused SUBJECT REDACTED. The Russian authorities levelled accusations that this was done with the intention of increasing political instability for a subversive communist agenda. This achieved some level of notoriety in the world press, with Subject denying the allegations that the publication was illegal; simply stating that a return to communal society values was of the utmost importance. After a press furore and a legal challenge by her father, the warrant was suspended and eventually dropped.

Subject married Subject 9901 in 2001, and eventually had two children, NAMES WITHHELD. Plans to move back to Russia to live with Subject’s father were eventually dropped due to risk, though after some trouble in obtaining the necessary paperwork Subject’s father emigrated to the UK to live with his daughter.

Presently, Subject runs a tea shop in Oxford, with a number of unusual and speciality teas. This also serves as a hub of left-wing activity, though on a smaller scale compared to that of 2 decades prior. There are indications that there may be further developments in light of the present political situation. Further observation necessary, though of low priority.
